Clyde L. Holt's Obituary
Clyde L. Holt of Gold Hill, N.C. passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the?Bethany Woods Nursing Center, Albemarle, N.C.??? His service will be at 2:00 PM Friday,? February 5, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home, Chapel, Albemarle with the?Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating.? Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Misenheimer, N.C.? The family will receive friends?at the Stanly Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the?hour of the service.
Mr. Holt was born January 21, 1928 in Stanly County, N.C. to the late Enos L. Holt and Talitha Cumie Barringer Holt and was a retired employee of Collins & Aikman?Corp. of Albemarle.? After retirement he enjoyed the scrap metal business.
He is survived by two daughters, Clara Ruth Keys and Jean Porter and husband Robert?all of Gold Hill, N.C. one brother; Harvey Holt and wife Sylvia of Cary, N.C. two sisters; Onnie Beeker of Gold Hill, NC and Rachel Almond and husband Pete of New London, N.C. five?? grandchildren and number of great-grandchildren.
