Cliffton Thomas Love, age 37, passed away on the morning of Thursday, October 16th, 2025, in Albemarle, North Carolina.
Born on September 27th, 1988 in Stanfield, North Carolina, where he spent his life surrounded by family, friends, nature, and the things he loved most. Known affectionately as “Clippy” by his family, Cliffton was a man of deep passions and a generous heart. He found great peace and joy in the quiet rhythms of fishing his favorite spots, and exhilaration in the roar of Harley Davidson motorcycles with the wind in his hair. A lover of fantasy fiction, Cliffton immersed himself in epic tales through books and films, always seeking adventure and imagination. He was also an avid foodie, constantly exploring new flavors and sharing meals with those he cared about.
Cliffton was the cherished son of father Dale Love and mother Angela Griffin (Sandy Griffin), beloved brother to Tyler Love and Neil Griffin, paternal grandson of Wayne and Melvia Love, maternal grandson of Clifford and Gayle Helms, and adored nephew of aunt Mandy Helms and aunt Wanda Wingard.
Cliffton’s legacy lives on in the memories he created, the jokes he shared, and the love he gave so freely and unconditionally. His presence brought laughter and warmth to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
