Her funeral service will be graveside on Friday, August 4th, 2017 in Stanly Gardens of Memory with Rev. Keith Walters officiating.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 9 until 9:45 prior to the graveside service.
Born February 1, 1947 in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of Claude and Doris Smith.? She was a supervisor in the textile industry.
Mrs. Schaefer was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Schaefer.? She is survived by son Gary Schaefer (Brandice) of Broadlands, VA, grandchildren Nicholas Schaefer (Polly) of Raeford, NC and Devin Schaefer of Salisbury, and one great-grandchild Lane Schaefer of Raeford.
