Iris, I want to express my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on the passing of our dear friend Terry. My late father and I always considered Terry to be the epitome of a true Southern gentleman. The love and commitment you had for one another was always apparent given the fact that I never once saw one of you without the other. Ya'll are true and genuine friends and I will forever cherish the relics that you and Terry entrusted into the care of my late father and me. We have an obligation to preserve and teach history in a manner that is both accurate and open-minded, and Terry was at the "top of the class" in his achievement in this regard. May God comfort you during this time as the memory of Terry's kind and gentle spirit rests within each of us.
