It has been some time since your family has lost lost Chris. No doubt there are still times when you reflect on his life and the way he affected others. The bible calls death an enemy. It hurts, it stings. But the bible also holds out hope for those we have lost in death. Jesus demonstrated what he will do in the future when he walked the earth (Luke 7:11-15). He and his Father have, not only the ability, but the desire to bring our dear loved ones back! John 5:28,29 says that those who are in the memorial tombs will be resurrected. May your family gain a measure of comfort from the scriptures and the promises that God has made regarding our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death.
