Christopher Shane Chavis' Obituary
Christopher Shane Chavis, 50 of Albemarle, NC, passed away Tuesday February 20, 2018 in the CHS Tucker Hospice House. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24, at 2 PM at Dunn?s Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Holt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 2 PM at the church. Burial will follow the service in New London Cemetery.
Christopher was born December 28, 1967 in Stanly County, NC and was the son of Cathy Culp Chavis and James Howard Chavis of Albemarle, NC. He was a member of Dunn?s Grove Baptist Church. Christopher was employed with Carolina Tire & Auto. He was a loving Father and friend and he never treated anyone as a stranger. Christopher enjoyed working on tractors, cars and anything that needed to be fixed.
Mr. Chavis is survived by two sons Christopher Ryan Chavis (Keosha Harris) of New London, NC and Justin Inbinet of Albemarle, NC, a daughter Sydney Chavis of Raleigh, NC, brother Shannon Chavis of Albemarle, NC, and two grandchildren Cristina Lyann and Skylar Dior.
