Christine Mills Smith's Obituary
Christine Mills Smith, 82, passed away on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC. Her visitation will be Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 from 11-1 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle. A Memorial Service will be at 1 Pm Wednesday in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel officiated by Pastor Kay Frye and Rev David Blalock. Burial will follow at Stony Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Smith is survived by her husband, Mr. Marvin Lee Smith. Ms. Smith is also lovingly remembered by her daughter, Darla Moore (Terry) of Norwood, one brother, Joe Mills (Patsy) of Albemarle, One grandson; Josh Moore (Mary) of Midland and one great-grandchild Joshua.
Ms. Smith was born in Stanly County, North Carolina on October 6th, 1940, to the late Frank Mills and Laura Mills. Ms. Smith was a member of Stony Hill United Methodist Church and her and her husband were active with the Sunshine group when health permitted. She was strong Christian woman who always sent cards and valued her prayer life.
