Charles “Chuck” Allan Morton, 63, of Albemarle passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Union
Hospice House in Monroe, NC. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45PM on Monday, January 23, 2023
at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care in Albemarle, NC. His memorial service will follow at 2PM in the
chapel officiated by Pastor Ron Loflin.
Chuck was born February 15, 1959 in Salinas, CA to Neil Franklin Morton and the late Wilma Evans
Morton.
Mr. Morton is survived by his father: Neil Franklin Morton of Norwood; brothers: Franklin N. Morton of
Norwood, Gary L. Morton (Ann) of New London; sister Jill Connor (Ted) of Greenville, SC; many nieces
and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a son: Derick Bowers; mother: Wilma Evans Morton; brothers: Richard W.
Morton, Ronnie Hunsucker; sisters: Terry Frances Knight, Aubrey Bruce, Linda Jacks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Union County at 700 W Roosevelt
Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
