Celia Hilton's Obituary
Mrs. Celia Presley Hilton, age 77, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Kindred- Monroe Rehabilitation Center.
A Graveside Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Lakeland Memorial Park, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump.
Mrs. Hilton was born on July 21, 1936, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Rufus Alexander Presley and Katy Knight Presley. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aris Hilton; a son, Timberling David Hilton; and a daughter, Loretta Hilton Greene.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Hilton of Monroe, Susan Hawkins and husband, Kenny, of Waxhaw, Sarah Bivens and husband, Robert, of Wilmington; six grandsons, Timothy Branch, Joshua Simpson, Gabriel Bivens, Robert Bivens, III, Daniel Hilton, Johnathan Schultz; one granddaughter, Erica Jacobs; one great-grandchild, Gabriella Kennedy; one brother, Van Presley and wife, Louise, of Rock Hill; and one sister, Beulah Ryan of Monroe.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 4, 2014, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Davis Funeral Home at 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
