Cathy Burris Turner's Obituary
Cathy Burris Turner, 61, of Oakboro, NC, passed away Tuesday July 2, 2018 in her home. Her graveside service will be 11 AM Friday July 6, 2018 in the Oakboro Cemetery with Chaplain Jeane Torrence officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Cathy was born on February 8, 1957 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late Dewey Claude Burris and Patsy Ann Burnette Burris Creswell. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Cathy was a loving mother, enjoyed fishing with her husband at the coast and loved animals.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband David Webster Turner of the home. Other survivors include a daughter Kayla Anne Turner of the home and two stepchildren Melissa and David, as well as by her bird Casey.
