Cathleen Coble Vanhoy, 92, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday August 29, 2018. Her funeral service will be 2:30 PM Saturday Sept 1, 2018 at South Albemarle Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Laws officiating. Burial will follow in Fa Read Obituary

We loved Cathleen and Lee so much. We are sorry for the loss felt by her family and loved ones, but we know there is joy even in the grieving because Cathleen is with the Lord. We could not come for the service, but you all were in our thoughts and prayers. We are praying that the sweet memories of all she was to you and to so many will give you peace and comfort, and even some smiles. Love you all.

Prayers to all the family. I worked with Ms. Vanhoy many years ago,, and since I started making aprons, I have talked with her. She gave me good advice and happy to show me things I didn't understand. I will always remember her. May she rest in peace with our LORD.
I came to see Mrs. Vanhoy with the Meals on Wheels program at the Senior Center. I absolutely loved coming to see her. She was friendly, positive, and had a never give up attitude. My prayers are with you.

This lady has known me and my family since I was four years old. She was always, kind, smiling and willing to help in any way she could for friends, neighbors and even strangers. She lived a good Christian life and set a high example for all of us who will miss her.
