Cathie White's Obituary
Mrs. Cathie Storm White, age 72, of Pineville, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, NC.
Cathie was born on June 22, 1944, in Teaneck, New Jersey, a daughter of Ed Storm and the late Rita Frances Libby Storm.
In her earlier years, she was a patient representative with Carolinas Health Care Systems. Her granddaughter wrote the sweetest note on Facebook, yesterday afternoon my Grandma peacefully passed away surrounded by family. She was the kindest, most thoughtful woman that I have ever met. She will be missed more than she knew and there is now huge a void in our family that will never be filled. She loved God and had the faith of 10,000 mustard seeds. I know she is in heaven and that is what gives me comfort.
Survivors include her father, Ed Storm of Mooresville, NC; her two daughters,Stacy White Denton and husband Forrest Denton of Monroe and Reagan White of Indian Trail; her son, Brian White and wife Kim White of Messick, MI; her two sisters, Donna Caton of Charlotte and Mary Vermeulen of South Carolina.
There are ten grandchildren, Allison Hurst, Russell Hurst, Lindsey Denton, Alex White, Jada White, Taylor White, Danni Wallace, Eisha Wallace, Raymond Wallace and Lucy Wallace.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
