I've known Casey since 7th grade. He was always a delight to be around in those moments we shared in class together, I can only imagine what his closest confidants and especially his family are feeling right now. R.I.P. man, you will be missed.
Casey was magnetic because he was through and through one of the most genuine people you could ever meet. Even when he was sarcastic he was genuine. Casey could poke fun at you and make you belly laugh at yourself, always laughing with you and never at you. There was never a dull moment with Casey around. Your memory will always be with us. Rest easy brother.
After high school, we only talked a handful of times. But even those few talks had laughs and he always showed support for whatever it was going on. There's very few I kept in touch with, and this really hit me hard. I can only imagine what his close friends and family are feeling.
