Carrey Elizabeth Austin's Obituary
Mrs. Carrey Elizabeth Parks Austin, age 35, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at her residence.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Carrey Parks Austin will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2017, at Euto Baptist Church, 6019 NC-205, Marshville, North Carolina 28103. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 200 North, Monroe, NC 28110.
Carrey was born on July 7, 1981, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Jerry Eugene Parks of Monroe and Kymberly Pate Parks Wright of Waxhaw.
She was a homemaker, loving mother and dedicated wife. She was a volunteer at Unionville Elementary School and Piedmont Middle School.
Carrey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dot Billingsley Parks and Dixon Barnes Parks and Betty J. Pate and J.G. Pate, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Jeremy Austin of Monroe; two daughters, Matty Elizabeth Tice of Monroe and Sarah Christian Tice of Monroe; a son, Parks Deacon Austin of Monroe; her father, Jerry Eugene Parks of Monroe; her mother, Kym Pate Wright and husband Bill Wright of Waxhaw; her brother, Derek Colby Parks and wife Emily Plyler Parks of Monroe; and her nephew, Brandt Parks of Monroe.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
