Carolyn Wright's Obituary
Mrs. Carolyn Horne Wright, age 70, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015, at CMC-Main.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump and Reverend Roy Barbee. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wright was born on April 3, 1945, in Union County, NC, a daughter of the late Luke and Bessie Sherrin Horne.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Eva Griffin, Marcine Rorie and Ruth Starnes; two brothers, J.W. Horne and Bobby Horne.
She was an owner and operator of Wright Oil Company
Survivors include her husband Robert (Bobby) Wright of Monroe; three daughters, Annette Helms (Jackie) of Monroe, Terry Furr (Tim) of Midland, and Sherry Gamble (fiancé Eddie Horne) of Marshville; a son, Robby Wright (Reannon) of Monroe; a sister, Linda Simpson (Joe) of Locust; ten grandchildren Leigh Anne Gamble, Chad Broadway and wife Sarah, Alaina Townley and husband Nick, Stephanie DeBois and husband Brian, Stacy Gamble, Dylan Gamble, A.J. Furr, Reese Wright, Rindy Wright, Radley Wright; six great grandchildren, Jonathon Russell, Austin Russell, Atlas Broadway, Aiden Townley, Vaden Broadway, Colton DeBois; and one great great grandson Waylon Russell; and their special " Bo Gang" Jerry and Joyce Whitaker, Charles and Carolyn Rawls, Gail Mullis and late husband Lewis, Roy and Louise Barbee, Suzanne Griffin, Donna Kanouse, Buck and Mary Hunter, Ed and Patsy Miller, Bobby and Becky Mullis, Brenda Starnes, and Elaine Thomas.
The family will receive friends Tuesday , August 11, 2015, from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at Davis Funeral Home; 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
