Carolyn Gregory Pickler, 71, of New London, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 in her home.? Her funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Kendall?s Baptist Church with Rev. Christian Herring officiating.? Burial will follow in the church cemetery.? The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM in the church sanctuary prior to the funeral service.
Born October 30, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William H. Gregory and Blanche Orr Gregory and was a homemaker and former manager of Bojangles in Albemarle.? She was a member of Kendall?s Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pickler was preceded in death by her husband Wayne F. Pickler.? Survivors include daughter Sandra G. Pickler of New London; sons Jerry Wayne Pickler and wife Cheryl of Waxhaw, and David Alan Pickler and wife Tammy of New London, , sisters LaVonne Murray of San Antonio, TX and Elaine Harper of Stallings, NC, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.? Also surviving are special friends Shawanna Taylor and Carolyn Gray.
