Carol Edson Peterson's Obituary
Carol Sue Edson Peterson, 67, of Concord, NC passed away November 2nd, 2023.
Born October 7th, 1956 in Muskegan County, MI she was the daughter of the late Edward Jerome Edson and Olive Bakker Edson. Carol worked in Charlotte during her working career and retired after a 20 year career with AT&T. She also attended Son Room Ministries in Concord. Carol loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and going to the beach.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Peterson of Concord and her son, Matthew Lee Peterson also of Concord. She is also survived by her brother David (Chris) Edson of Illinois, sisters, Barb (Jim) Turcott of Florida, and Edie (Dan) Moore of South Carolina. Carol is also survived by her granddaughter, Kyndra Lee Peterson, several nieces and nephews, and seven great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her sister, Chris Baker. Memorial service will be June 1st, 2024.
