Carol Emerson's Obituary
Ms. Carol Gilmore Emerson, age 53, of Polkton, NC, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at McWhorter Hospice House of Union County.
A Memorial Service for Carol will be held 6:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2019 at Polkton Baptist Church, 305 W. Polk St., Polkton, NC, 28135, officiated by Pastor John Greene.
Carol was born, August 5, 1965, in San Francisco, CA, a daughter of Henry Gilmore and Betty Gilmore. Carol will be warmly remembered by her friends and family for her loving support and dedication to all she crossed paths with. Always putting others before herself, she will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Carol is survived by her life partner of 18 years who she lovingly referred to as her rock and inspiration, Matt Robson, of Polkton, NC, her three children; John Emerson, Cassie Emerson, and Angel Murdaugh. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by three sisters; Debbie, Luwanna, and Tonja, two brothers; Shawn and Henry Jr., and her three grandchildren; Rose, Teagan, and David.
