So sadden to hear of this! He would come at least once a week with his wonderful cooking, soups and whatever.. to Helen Smith's My Mother. She loved him dearly! It's wonderful people in this world like Bernie that make us all smile with joy and happiness. The community has lost a wonderful man.. God bless each and everyone!
Bernie was so much fun to hand around with when we were in high school. I remember racing him one day after school. We were lucky nothing was coming towards us because we were side-by-side! Crazy things we did as kids. I would have loved to have been in touch with him over the years. Hope he had a happy life...I'm sure he brought a lot of joy to many and will always remember him as a kind-hearted person. Stinkin' COVID.
