Carlos Alberto Portell, 60, of Stanfield passed away on September 2, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus. A graveside service is scheduled at 1 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 6:30-8:30 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust.
Born on March 13, 1964, Carlos lived a life full of dedication, hard work, and unconditional love for his family.
A hard-working and straightforward man, Carlos dedicated his life to provide for his loved ones. His devotion to his family was evident in everything he did, teaching us all to always show up for the people you love. His favorite way to spend his free time was either with his family or working on cars, his patience and skill with which he could fix anything was truly remarkable.
The lessons Carlos imparted and the love he gave will forever be cherished in our hearts and minds. Carlos will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Yet, his legacy will continue to guide us, reminding us of the importance of dedication, loyalty, and above all, family.
