Bruce DeBerry's Obituary
Bruce DeBerry, 70, of Albemarle passed away November 15, 2021 in Atrium Health University City. His funeral will be graveside will be 2 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Tucker officiating. The body will lie in state from 11-12 AM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Born July 12, 1951 in Marlboro County, SC he was the son of the late Shine DeBerry and Lela Driggers DeBerry. He was a truck driver with Estes. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Lomax DeBerry of the home. Other survivors include son Phillip Bruce DeBerry of Albemarle, daughter Susan LaTavia DeBerry, brother Ronald DeBerry of Albemarle, three sisters Dorothy Almond of Albemarle, Geneva Morris of Troy, and Odessa Furr of Stanfield, a grandson Jake Honbarrier.
