Brenda Huneycutt Turner's Obituary
Brenda Holt Huneycutt Turner, 76, of Albemarle passed away January 5, 2017 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, at 2 PM in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ben Sloan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM till 2 PM prior to the service. The burial will follow the service in Fairview Memorial Park.
Born November 24, 1940 in Stanly County, Brenda was the daughter of the late Theodore A. Huneycutt and Davie Lee Holt. She attending New London School and worked for several years as a sales person for Music Mart. Mrs. Turner was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Albemarle. In addition to the great love she had for her family, Brenda loved reading and music.
She was married 59 years to the living Wade Turner of Albemarle. Other survivors include two sons, Kelly Turner (Fred) of Stallings, NC, and David Turner (Sandy) of Albemarle, one daughter, Leslie Eudy (Greg) of Richfield, one sister, Jean Hill of Albemarle, and four grandchildren, Bradley and Ryan Eudy and Suzie and Carrie Turner.? Brenda is preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Huneycutt, T.A. Huneycutt, Jr., and Don Huneycutt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly & the Uwharrie at 960 N. First Street. Albemarle, NC 28001
