Brenda Joye Gollehon's Obituary
Brenda Joye Ellison Gollehon, 82, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Woodhaven Court.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Born on February 27, 1943, in Rome, Georgia, Brenda was the daughter of the late John Ellison and Erna Pass Ellison. She lived a life marked by kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others. Known for her friendly spirit, Brenda never met a stranger and had a special affection for her beloved pets.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 36 years, William Gollehon; her daughter, Sheree Pope (Robert) of Lithia Springs, Georgia; her brother, John Ellison of Thailand; and grandchildren, Robby and Nicole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Faye Hinkley.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Gollehon family.
