Brady Lee Harris, 85, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Forrest Oakes Nursing Center.? His funeral service will be 11 AM Monday, February 22, 2015 at East Albemarle Church of God with Rev. Harry Harward officiating.? Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory.? The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 10 AM until 11AM.
Born September 11, 1930 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Otis Alexander Harris and Martha Ola Morris Harris and was a retired employee of Metal Forge.? Mr. Harris was a member of East Albemarle Church of God and was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict.? He was awarded the Bronze Star for Bravery in Action.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife Robbie Aline Hopkins Harris in March of 2014.
