Bradley Keith Morton's Obituary
Bradley Keith Morton, 44, of Old Fort, formerly of Stanfield, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust, officiated by Pastor Robert Britt. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Bradley was born May 15, 1981, in Stanly County to the late Keith Avery Morton and Marie Morton, who survives.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lux Morton of Winston-Salem; his mother, Marie Morton; his brothers, Britt Morton (Stephen) of Greensboro and Brian Morton (Trixie) of Albemarle; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Jayde, Kimber, and Everett Morton. He is also remembered by special friends, Steve Saunders, and Mike and Suzie Fort.
In addition to his father, who passed away in 2020, Bradley was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Peggy and Jake Floyd, and his paternal grandparents, Dortha and Vance Morton.
Bradley will be remembered as a kind-hearted and resilient man who faced life's challenges with determination and strength. In recent years, he found a renewed sense of freedom and purpose, using his experiences to encourage and support others. A man of faith, he was a Christian whose greatest joy in life was his daughter, Lux. He had a generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand, and found peace and happiness in riding his motorcycle.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Recovery Ventures Corporation for the care, compassion, and support shown to Bradley in recent years.
