Bobby Dale Smith's Obituary
Bobby Dale Smith, 65, of Albemarle passed away on July 9, 2024. There will be no formal
services.
Bobby was born on September 14, 1958, in Stanly County to the late Boyd and Jean Smith.
Those left to cherish his memories are brothers; Stephen Smith (Connie) of Albemarle and Larry
Wayne Hatley (Colette) of Albemarle, nieces and nephews; Tyler Smith (Kathleen) of Chapel
Hill, Jessica Smith Goodman (Adam) of Harrisburg, and Jacob Hatley of Albemarle, great
nieces and nephews; Ethan Smith, Holden Smith, Reese Goodman, and Micah Goodman and
many cousins.
To know Bobby was to love him. He loved to fish, loved listening to music, and loved riding his
motorcycle. Bobby was always ready and never late for a home cooked meal.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Smith family.
