Bobby Junior Forsythe's Obituary
Bobby Junior Forsythe, 88, of New London, NC, passed away Monday December 11, 2017 at his daughter?s home. His funeral service will be 2 PM on Thursday December 14, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care.
Bobby was born on September 13, 1929 in DeKalb, NY and was the son of the late Thomas Samuel Forsythe and Eva Pearl Kelso Forsythe. He was a graduate of DeKalb High School and a retired Bus Driver for the Metro System of Washington, DC. Mr. Forsythe was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a Veteran of the US Navy.
Mr. Forsythe was married to Jane Russell Forsythe of the home. He is survived by two sons Thomas Samuel Forsythe of Medford, Oregon and Robert Andrew Forsythe of Albemarle, NC, a daughter Mary Ann Green of New London, NC, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Forsythe is preceded in death by a grandson Byran Derek Forsythe.
