Billy Jake Simpson Sr. passed away on September 18, 2024, at Atrium Health Stanly of Albemarle NC. A graveside service to honor his life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the Oakboro Cemetery by Rev. Brando Read Obituary
Mr. Simpson was the first friend I made, when my wife and I moved to Oakboro in 2020. I loved to visit with him and hear his stories of the old days. Look at what he was working on in the shop. And get the unexpected, but much appreciated vegetables in the summer. I mourn the loss of a friend but rejoice in this man of God going home.
