Billy R. Aldridge's Obituary
Billy ?Bill? R. Aldridge, 81, of Norwood passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in his home. A public viewing will be held from 11 am until 1 PM on Friday at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. A private service and burial will follow with Rev. Mary Hatley, Rev. Steven Aldridge and Chase Aldridge officiating.
Born February 19, 1939 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Thomas High Aldridge and Mary Vernell Biles Aldridge. He was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church and retired from NC Natural Gas.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Simpson Aldridge of the home, sons Thomas Aldridge and wife Pamela of Norwood and Steven Aldridge and wife Erin of Norwood, sisters Margie Tyson of Conover and Frances Crisco of Oakboro, five grandchildren Hannah Aldridge, Brandon Aldridge, Hailey Aldridge, Chase Aldridge and Trent Aldridge.
The family requests that memorials be made to Community Hospice and Home Care, 1024 Albemarle Rd. #904, Troy, NC 27371.
