Billie Joe Cox's Obituary
Mrs. Billie Joe 'BJ' Cox, age 48, of Monroe, NC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday (April 14, 2013).
A Visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday evening (April 17, 2013) at Houston Baptist Church, 4405 Waxhaw Highway (Hwy 75), from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Burial will be private.
BJ was born on July 21, 1964, in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, a daughter of Barbara Ellen Terhune Driggers and the late Bobbie Fred Driggers. She was also predeceased by a brother, Tommy Driggers.
In addition to her mother, BJ is survived by her loving fiance, Mr. Jimmy Pressley, her two sons, Paul Edward Driggers and John Mitchell Cox; a brother, Robert Driggers and wife Polly of Waxhaw, NC; sisters, Debra Daniel, Laura Howell, Sharon Harvey and husband Bob, all of Monroe, NC and Pam Glenn and husband Joe, of Northport, Florida. She is also survived by her loving friend Teresa Thompson, who was like a sister to her.
BJ was a loyal and faithful friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
