Betty Lou Plyler's Obituary
Mrs. Betty Lou Plyler, age 76, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015, at CMC-Union in Monroe.
Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Betty Lou Plyler will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Plyler was born on September 25, 1938, in Union County, North Carolina. a daughter of the late Harrison Starnes and Lillian McManus Starnes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Plyler, by a son, Ricky Plyler and two brothers and two sisters.
She was a homemaker, and a caregiver to several family members.
Survivors include a son, Danny Plyler of Marshville; a daughter, Terrie Outen and husband, Steve, of Monroe; two sisters, Emmie Laney and husband, Griggs, of Pageland, South Carolina, and Kittie Benton and husband, Mike, of Marshville. There are three grandchildren, Dusty Outen of Monroe, Paige Plyler of Wingate and Chelsey Plyler of Monroe; two great-grandchildren, Parker Thomas and Sadie Porter.
