Betty Hathcock McConnell's Obituary
Betty
Hathcock McConnell, 83, of Thomasville, NC passed away Saturday February 23,
2019 at Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Thomasville. Her funeral will be
Tuesday February 26 at 3 PM in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel
with Rev. David Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3
prior to the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Cedar
Grove United Methodist Church cemetery.
Born April
6, 1935, Betty was the daughter of the late Guy Hathcock and Lucy Aldridge
Hathcock. She was a graduate of Aquadale High School and a member at Cedar
Grove UMC. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert McConnell,
brothers, William and Van Hathcock, and sister, Sarah James.
Survivors
include her daughter Carla McConnell (Randy) of Thomasville, brothers, Bob
Hathcock (Edith) of Florence, SC and Burl Hathcock of Norwood, and one
grandson, Paul Poplin (Lindsey) of New London.
In lieu of
flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way,
Lexington, NC 27292.
