Betty Culp Leonard's Obituary
Betty Culp Leonard of Albemarle passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 in Stanly Manor.? Her graveside service will be 11 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in the New London Cemetery with Mr. Guy Roberts officiating.? Her body will lie in state at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care on Monday afternoon from 1 until 5 for those wishing to pay their respects.
Born June 4, 1928 in Buncombe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Culp and Pauline Taylor Culp.? She retired as a medical assistant in the ophthalmology practice of Dr. George Levi.? Mrs. Leonard was affiliated with Prospect Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Stahle H. Leonard, Jr. of the home and by her son Richard Culp Leonard and wife Millicent of Albemarle.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001 or to the charity of the donor?s choice.
