I have very fond memories of Betty, she was always a pleasure to see and speak to when she joined us for Gelbach holidays, and I particularly remember visiting her house with Tonya when I was a teenager, and sitting on her porch, nonplussed as Tonya explained to us teenage boys just why a person might squeeze a lemon onto their hair to add highlights. She was a delightful, bright, charming human being and the world is less bright without her. I'm so sorry to hear of her loss, and our hears go out to everyone in the Beach family. - Eagan and Kate

I’ve known Betty for a long time, she was my boss at Stanly Memorial Hospital. She was a great role model with kind and compassionate care she provided to her patients as well as her staff. I hope that as a nurse and a person I have shown my friends and my patients the kindness that Betty did. I will miss her!
What a beautiful lady she was. I can see her sitting in that living room reading her Bible. She has those little glasses on and that little string hanging from the sides of them. She will be greatly missed praying for the entire family during this hard time I know she was the light of her family’s life. I know you’re proud to say that Betty was your mama. We were so very thankful that you allowed Spring Arbor to take care of her.
Betty’s obituary captures the beautiful, hard working, lady she was. I loved visiting with her every chance I had. The care her family provided to her showed the love they had for her, which in return shows the mother she was. Betty will be missed but the memories of our times together will forever be with me. Prayers for all the family and may all your wonderful memories give you peace and comfort during this time, and the precious memories keep her close until we meet again
