Betty Kathleen Talbert Andrews' Obituary
Betty Kathleen Talbert Andrews, 92, of Albemarle, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at 6:25 a.m. at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Born on January 4, 1933, in Stanly County, North Carolina, Betty was the daughter of the late Hollie Hubert Talbert and Edna Reynolds Talbert. She devoted many years of her working life to Wisscassett Mills, from which she retired as an office clerk.
Betty was a longtime and faithful member of Lakeview Baptist Church, where her quiet strength, kind spirit, and steady faith were evident to all who knew her. Above all else, her family was the greatest joy of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude Gerald Andrews, who passed away in 2010.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Ritchie and husband David W. Ritchie of Albemarle; her granddaughter, Amy Ritchie Jones and husband Greg of Norwood; her great-grandson, Grayson Davis Jones of Raleigh; and her great-granddaughter, Emily Jones Quinn and husband Liam of Cary.
Graveside rites will be held at Stanly Gardens of Memory. The service will be private. Reverend Don Burleyson will officiate.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Trinity Place in Albemarle for their loving care and compassion, including Jerry, who kept her busy with fun activities. Betty especially enjoyed playing bingo, working on puzzles, playing uno and spending time with her friends.
