Bettie Finch's Obituary
Mrs. Bettie Weir Finch, age 60, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Carolina Medical Center - Specialty Hospital in Charlotte.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Tommy Threatt.
Mrs. Finch was born on May 18, 1953, in Columbia, South Carolina, a daughter of Alma Cato Weir and the late Frank Weir. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph D. Finch, Sr. of the home; one son, Joseph D. Finch, Jr. of Monroe; one daughter, Glenda F. Lyons of Albemarle; her mother, Alma C. Weir of Monroe; two brothers, Gerald Weir of Monroe, Robert Weir of McBee, SC. There are six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Davis Funeral Home of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Finch.
