I was honored to be invited on vacation with Geoff and Ticia, in which Bettie was also always included. Bettie was always happy to be with her family and grandchildren Ella and Libby. She always had a smile and a hug to share. The last I saw her was Mothers Day at Geoff and Tricias home. We sat in their patio visiting and laughing and they were planning their next beach trip.

Offering up prayers for Bettie's two children and their families (I know she was quite close to the granddaughters!); It is hard to believe Bettie is no longer with us - she was so very lively, kind, considerate, ready to be on-the-move!! She will be missed! Bettie knew Jesus as her Savior - she is now in His presence basking in His love! Bette may have spent many years north if the Mason Dixon line, but her Southern hospitality roots never died. She was the first to express condolences through a shared gift of food. Her home was always filled with "Welcome! Come share!" You will be missed, my friend.
