Betsy Lynn McGuirt's Obituary
Mrs. Betsy Lynn McGuirt, 65, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October
25, 2015. Born in Logan, West Virginia, she was born March 5, 1950,
daughter of the late Harold Varney and Mary Frances Farrell Varney. She was a
nurse and homemaker. Betsy attended Shining Light Baptist Church in Monroe, NC.
Betsy and Larry faithfully served ten years with the Christian RV Sower Group
(Service on Wheels Ever Ready). She loved mentoring and teaching young ladies.
Betsy and Larry enjoyed traveling and were blessed to visit all 50 states.
Visitation for Mrs. McGuirt will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe,
NC.
Survivors include her husband Larry G. McGuirt; two sons, Daniel (Autumn)
McGuirt and Jonathan D. (Malerie) McGuirt both of Monroe, NC. Additional
survivors include two sisters, Jeanne (Bill) Sullivan of Odessa, Florida, and
Lea Mazullo of Clearwater, Florida, also step-father L.C. Wallen of Largo,
Florida. In addition there are three grandchildren ; grandson David,
and granddaughters Cheyenne and Lynnlee all of Monroe, NC.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Davis Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Tim Cruse. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.
