Benny Tyrone Hall's Obituary
Mr. Benny
Tyrone Hall, 81, of Albemarle passed away Saturday October 5, 2019 at his home
surrounded by his loving family. ?Ty? was born in Montgomery County on July 29,
1938. He grew up in the Love Joy area and later lived in Concord before
settling to Millingport. He retired in 2004 from the City of Albemarle where he
worked as a lab technician in the Water Treatment Plant. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports.
He especially loved auto racing and was a big supporter of the Albemarle
Bulldogs. He loved working in the yard and he was a devoted dog lover.
Ty is
survived by his loving wife Barbara Hall of Albemarle. His children are
Christopher Hall of Albemarle, Ronnie Hall (Faye) of Albemarle, Vicky Hall of
High Point and Terry Hall of Davidson County. He is also survived by his
brother Dillon Furr of Albemarle, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren,
and many loving nieces and nephews. Ty is preceded in death by his wonderful
mother, Mrs. Myrtle Lucille Hall Furr.
A graveside
service will be held at Highland Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, October
9, 2019 at 11 AM with Dr. Glenn Eddie Burris officiating, the brother-in-law of
Mr. Hall. Eulogy will be presented by Ms. Jessica Lewis, Mr. Hall?s niece.
The family
would like to thank the doctors at Atrium Health-Stanly as well as the staff at
Atrium Health-NorthEast. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of
Stanly & the Uwharrie at 960 N 1st St, Albemarle, NC 28001 or the Stanly
County Humane Society at 2049 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001.
