Belmer Morton Ingram's Obituary
Belmer Morton Ingram, 94, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Trinity Place.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Porter Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Flynn Richardson. There will be no formal visitation.
Belmer was born October 22, 1931, in Stanly County to the late Samuel and Annette Kimrey Morton. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in caring for her family. She had a love for cooking and gardening, and her home was often a place of warmth and welcome.
She was a faithful member of Porter Baptist Church and retired from Wiscassett Mills after many years of dedicated service.
Belmer is lovingly survived by her children, David Dennis (Jeanne), and Catherine Townsend (Bill); grandchildren, Lisa Ward (Tracy) and John Wayne Hardison; great-grandchildren, Dylan Ward, Haley Ward, Ian Hardison, and Molly Hardison; sisters, Betty Morgan, Ethel Trull, Tinnie Cowles, and Vickie Almond; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Dennis in 1962 and Everette Ingram in 2010.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Trinity Place and Tillery Compassionate Care for the kindness, care, and support shown to Belmer during her declining health.
