I am so sorry for the loss of one sweet lady who always had a smile. I will have to add that her pies and all she cooked were great. May God give you peace and please know we are sending big hugs.

What a loss to our town. Mrs. Goodman was a true Christian lady. She was one of Mom's role models. She always talked about how Mrs. Goodman loved our lord and savior. She was special to me also. I have many memories of my time at Oakboro School where she worked. I tested her patience many times and she always knew how to handle me but always with kindness. Every time I saw during my 53 years she always smiled and gave me a big hug even those times when she had been so sick and weak she still made me feel like someone special. She asked me many times to call her Bea and I always said I can't because I think it's disrespectful. She would always just laugh. Mrs. Goodman, I will miss you and think of you often. You have reached your reward. You have definitely earned it. Please give Mom and Dad one of your big hugs for me. Thank you for your kindness you always showed me. I will never forget you.
My deepest condolences to the family. I graduated with Bea’s daughter Renee and my brother Ronald graduated with her son Brian. I remember Bea being very active in the community. God bless you all.

Prayers for the family.

Brian, Betty and family,
I’m sorry for your loss. What a legacy she leaves to all of you. May God comfort you.

Rene and family, I am so sorry. I am praying for
all of you. Love and hugs.
