Barry Vann Hilton's Obituary
Mr. Barry Vann Hilton, age 62, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019, at his residence.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, 5709 Philadelphia Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103, officiated by Reverend Caroll Anthony.
Mr. Hilton was born on June 25, 1957, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late Vann William Hilton and the late Virgie Pope Hilton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn H. Tucker.
Barry was a real estate appraiser and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include a daughter, Carmen Hilton Moorer of Lugoff, SC; a son, Cameron Vann Hilton of Marshville; a granddaughter, Carsyn Moorer of Lugoff, SC; two sisters, Judy Woody and husband Ted of Charlotte, and Carol Ross and husband David of Marshville; a brother-in-law, Richard Tucker of Marshville; and Cameron's mother, Carlos Hilton of Marshville.
The family wishes special thanks and appreciation to Lindsey with Hospice and Christa, caregiver, for all their dedicated service.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday night, January 1, 2020, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112.
Memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church or to Hospice of Union County.
