Barry Malcolm Dick's Obituary
Barry Malcolm Dick, 82, of Albemarle passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in Woodhaven Court. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
Born September 6, 1941 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of the late Harold McKeever Dick and Margaret Poplin Dick. He was a retired employee of Alcoa and a member of Albemarle Lodge #703 A. F. & A.M. He was also active in the Scottish Rite when his health permitted.
Mr. Dick was preceded in death by his wife Nora Carter Dick. Survivors include daughter Misty Vaughn (Steve) of Locust, stepdaughters Debbie Shugoll (Richard) of Charlotte, Lynn Mauldin of Albemarle, and Pamela Woodle, siblings Jimmy Dick (Kathy) of Albemarle, Peggy Dick of Albemarle, and Roger Dick of Albemarle, seven grandchildren Tabatha Cox, Mellisa Maudlin, Cody Woodle, Bradley Shugoll, Matthew Vaughn, Jason Shugoll and Jessie Woodle and six great-grandchildren.
