Anthony "Tony" Gene Archer's Obituary
Tony Archer, 64, of Albemarle, NC passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, unexpectedly at his home. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church in Albemarle with Rev. Delane Burris officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Tony was born February 1, 1959 in Albemarle, NC and was the son of the late Robert Eugune (Bob) Archer and Macie Mann Hinson. Tony attended Albemarle Senior High School and worked for many years in Albemarle in the textile industry and later as a traveling electrical technician in the construction industry. Tony was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Archer of Albemarle, NC; aunt, Patty Morton of Albemarle, NC, and his beloved dog “Muffin”. He is also survived by Lisa Morton and David Morton, who were special people in his life, along with many cousins and their families. He was also preceded in death by a son, Justin Archer, a brother, Doug Archer, and a sister Kathy Archer Lambert.
