Annette Lowder Fesperman's Obituary
Our beautiful mother Annette Lowder Fesperman was called home by our Lord and Savior Friday August 7, 2020 at Trinity Place in Albemarle. Family and friends will gather for a 10am graveside committal service on Friday August 14, 2020, at Friendship United Methodist Church. Her nephew Rev. Keith Lowder will lead deliver the eulogy.
Born September 11, 1940 to Norman R. Lowder and Kathryn Fink Lowder, she was the eldest of five children. Annette graduated from Millingport High School in 1958 and went on to earn her nursing degree from Central Piedmont Community College. She dedicated more than 30 years of her life caring for the health and well-being of others, in addition to raising her children. Annette ended her career at age 70 retiring from Britthaven Nursing Home. Annette was a faithful lifelong member of Friendship Methodist Church.
She is survived by her three children who will miss her dearly. Daughters Kathy Connell (Troy) of Albemarle and Stephanie Coley (Danny) of Aquadale, and her son Phillip Fesperman (Karen Albee) of New London. Her biggest pride and joy are the surviving eight grandchildren and one great-grandson; Justin Connell (Bridgit), Nathan Connell (LeAnne), Gus Fesperman, Clay Fesperman, Abby Fesperman, Josh Coley, Jackson Coley, Alyssa Coley and Nathan Gaddy. Annette also has four brothers and their wives who were totally devoted to her; Norman A ?Tony? Lowder (Martha), Douglas Lowder (Loraine), Dwight Lowder (Teresa) all of Albemarle and Don Lowder (Judy) of Weddington. And the many nieces and nephews that she cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Linda Lowder.
Annette spent the last 4 years being lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff at Trinity Place who treated her as if she was their own mother. When we couldn?t be there, these men and women were the angels that gave her unconditional love and we are so grateful for them. We would also like to thank the staff with Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie for the added comfort provided to our mother in her final days.
Annette was a beautiful soul and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Friendship United Methodist?Church; Trinity Place of Albemarle; Hospice of Stanly and The Uwharrie.
