Anna Smith Staats' Obituary
Anna Lillian Smith Staats, 102, of Albemarle passed away Monday, October 5. 2020 in Woodhaven Court. Her funeral will be graveside at 12 noon on Friday, October 9, 2020 in Stanly Gardens of Memory.
Born September 11, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Andy Franklin Smith and Mamie Cedilla Austin Smith. She worked as a waitress.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph Isaac Weaver and second husband Willie Staats. She is survived by two sons Jackie Norman Weaver of Albemarle, and Ralph Lee Weaver of Albemarle, daughter Edith Frances Garman of Bealeton, VA, sister Iona Fern Roberts of Woodstock, VA, 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A son Marvin Edward Weaver preceded her in death.
