Ann Cook's Obituary
Ann Rushing Cook, 89, of Monroe passed away on February 22, 2022 in Autumn Care of Marshville. Her funeral service will be 11 AM on Monday, February 28, 2022 in the Davis Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Dallas Presley and Shad Hicks officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Service from 10 until 11 prior to the service.
Born February 16, 1933 in Lancaster County, SC she was the daughter of the late Brady Carl Rushing and Nettie Lousetta Craig Rushing. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of West End Baptist Church and a former member of Sutton Park Baptist Church. Her main focus in life were her church and family. She was a caregiver and believed in taking care of her family as long as she was able.
Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Ervin Cook and her son Joey Cook. Survivors include her brother Roy K. Rushing and wife Bennie of Stallings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
