Andrea Singletary Dick, age 54 of Albemarle, NC passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in the CHS Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, N.C.? Her service will be 2:00 PM Monday, August 7, 2017 in West Albemarle Baptist Church, Albemarle, NC with the Rev. Adam Hatley and Rev. Delane Burris officiating.? The family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Dick was born on August 19, 1962 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Norman Ivey Singletary, Sr. and Patsy Meares Singletary and was a graduate of North Stanly High School and UNCC.? She was a retired employee of Stanly County Utilities Department and? Department of Social Services with 32 years of service.
Mrs. Dick was married to Gary Edward Dick who survives of the home.? Other survivors include one brother, Norman (Chip) Singletary of Fairbluff, NC, two sisters, Suzan Singletary Dabbs and husband John of Concord, NC, and Robyn Singletary of Albemarle, NC, thirteen nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of the Tucker Hospice House for their wonderful care.? Also a thank you to special friends for their help and care during her illness, Elaine Anderson, Pat James, Jim & Debbie York, Karen Whitley, Lisa Almond, Annette Webster and ?Karen Feezor.
