ANABEL, was ANABEL take her as she is….Everyone loved her…..
It’s been decades since I’ve seen that sweet face, but she is one that I will never forget. As a young twenty-something-year-old beginning my first “real” job as area rep for FCA,, oh how she encouraged me. Whether it was hearing the FCA group sing or watch how high school students were organized to participate and even lead in Bible study. It became a model for the other schools in other counties.
Heaven gained an amazing one. Her impact on this side will continue for more decades to come.

Anabel was a great peraon. Ive known her since i was little girl. She would refresh my memory that o climbed the fwnce and tear up everything. She always listened to me when i had a problem and she would lead me in the right direction. She will be greatly missed
Anabel lived a life that was a true testimony for Christ. She was an anchor for her family. She gave unconditionally to the West Stanly Community. She touched many teenagers with her leadership in FCA and in coaching. My life has definitely been blessed and enriched from having known her and her family. Deepest sympathy to her family and the West Stanly Family. May God grant you comfort during this most difficult time.
Very blessed and fortunate to know Anabel since a little boy. Anabel was someone I considered a 3rd grandmother and my family and I consider James and Anabel family. Anabel and James have done more for Western Stanly county and FCA than people realize. Anabel will be missed but never forgotten. Marko
Anabel was a tower of strength, wisdom, courage, and encouragement for all who knew her. She was an especially loving and inspirational friend and mentor for thousands of young people through her love for Jesus, her church, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I was richly blessed to have known her. To God be the glory for the things he has done through the life of Anabel Speight. Robin Hayes
Anabel and her amazing gift of leadership and dedication will always be remembered.
