Amy was a true North Carolina girl. She loved the mountains and was a great snow skier. From childhood, all summer she could be found at the pool, at the lake, or at the beach where she loved to body surf, waterski, shag, and sing. In her childhood and teen years, Amy was a very accomplished dancer. She especially excelled at ballet and pointe and attended the NC School of the Arts. The absolute sunshine of her life were her sons, Jacob and Adam, and her granddaughter, Bryleigh. She will truly be missed by all, and we hope she has now found peace.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, April 13 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care located at 1835 Badin Road, Albemarle, NC. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM and the service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM.
